What You Can Expect at HPI
Treating animals should be a joyful experience; so should the educational experience.
To that end our students are treated with respect and kindness. As adult learners we recognize that furthering your education can be challenging. Time away from your family, work and familiar surroundings can be lonely and a bit stressful.
Our school was created with these concerns in mind.
Our faculty has been chosen for their expertise, motivational and teaching skills. They’re passion is contagious and they know how to have a good time!
Our facility is “state of the art” in comfort and technology. Natural lighting, comfortable seating and outdoor space enhance a peaceful learning environment. We even have our own coffee shop!
There are 6 hotels across the street and fine and casual dining within walking distance. Discounted room rates for our learners have been arranged with the hotels.
Transportation to and from barns and other wet lab locations are provided for stress free travel between sites.
A morning refreshment break providing healthy fruits and cheeses are provided on the days you are in the classroom.
An eat-in lunch is also provided so that we may be together, sharing and getting to know one another.
Our concierge can help you plan your free time. We are near Naperville Illinois which has a lovely downtown with many shops and restaurants. The river walk is out of a Norman Rockwell painting.
Trains are available from Naperville for trips to downtown Chicago.
We will end our sessions on Saturday night with something special. A barbecue, a campfire, musical entertainment and much more.
